Otis Simpson, born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised in Greensboro, North Carolina, Otis is delighted and humbled to have met Dr. Stephanie Hurt as the stage manager for “The Damages Woman Blues” written by Irma Taylor, and now directed by her in her original piece, “The PRESENT.” He has appeared in other production company shows such as: The Prince of Egypt: Dance Adaption, The Cup and Lorraine Hansberry’s A RAISIN IN THE SUN. As a performer, Otis hopes to harness the power of the performing arts to ignite and influence critical change for the greater good.
