Chairman of the Board

Jonathan Allen is a native of Winston-Salem, who feels blessed to be active in the "City of Arts and Innovation".  As an IT professional by trade, Jonathan loves all things technology, and as a creative and musician, he also loves all things arts.

In his professional life, Jonathan is the Technology Experience Analyst with Allegacy Federal Credit Union, where he has the ability to foster collaboration utilizing technology, both within the organization and in the surrounding community as well.

As a passionate leader in the community, Mr. Allen enjoys being affiliated with several organizations which help Winston-Salem to be the diverse, emerging city that it is.  The organizations include Greater Winston-Salem Inc., The Winston-Salem Symphony, Leadership Winston-Salem and Love Out Loud.

In 2023, Jonathan became the Chair of the Royal Curtain Drama Guild board, and has been affiliated with RCDG for the past four years.  Jonathan firmly believes that the arts are a unifying force in our culture, and that music is chief of all the arts, and is one of the only universal languages spoken in the world.
